How is Geneseo’s music department?

Does anyone have any info on this?
It’s definitely not as strong as a music school like Potsdam or Ithica would be, of course, but it’s pretty good in general. A lot of fun performance opportunities with some pretty good Professors. What are you interested in doing Musically?
Geneseo is actually off my list now because the admissions rep who visited my school told me the department is almost entirely performance-based. I am looking to study music in a liberal arts setting and am interested in things like ethnomusicology and composition in addition to performance. But thanks anyway!
