Geometry & PSAT

I take the highest classes my school has to offer in everything except math. I'm one level down on that. So, the highest math class is taking algebra II this year (sophomore) and I'm taking geometry. Will not having a full year of geometry at the time of the PSAT make it impossible to get the concepts on the math part or is it still doable?

I'll still take it regardless, I'm just wondering if it is an exercise in futility.

Jack

well yes, there is a lot of geometry, but the psat only really counts junior year. next year, when it really matters, you'll have a full year of geometry down

What do you mean, "the psat only counts junior year"?

They're only used to determine National Merit Semifinalist status when you take it junior year, any year beore that is just practice of sorts

that should be a "before"
