George Bush

Suits don't pucker in perfectly rectangular shapes.

See the 'Seeking Physics Scholars' thread (in this section of the forum).

Meh. I prefer to err on the side of caution and say, "We simply don't know."

But let's say it was equipment. So what? Who's to say that it wasn't for security reasons as opposed to coaching?

It seems so unimportant to me. Stuff like this is why I sincerely doubt the Democrats desire to win at times.

I acknowledged that it is not irrefutable proof. You asked why I thought he was a puppet, so I answered your question.

If you want something a bit more substantial, then I invite you to see the 'Seeking Physics Scholars' thread (even if you're not a physics scholar). In particular, check out the websites I list. I would love to discuss it with you.

george bush is cool

Bush sucks, there hasn't been a good republican (or democrat) presidential candidate since goldwater

I know kids like you! You cant accept the fact that anything that happens in the contemporary world is a "god" thing. You wait till history experts 20 years later say that so and so was a good person. I think you should start analyzing people yourself instead of letting others do the analyzing for you.

Since when is Goldwater a darling of history?

Ahem, that's what we're doing. We're analyzing bush ourselves instead of blindly believing he's 'godly' just because he's got a slick campaign to sucker the Christians.

Check this out:

My brother thought bush was raised up by God to save this nation, until he saw Loose Change. Now he's rattled, to say the least.

Loose Change. LAWLZ.

It's on the level of the moon conspiracy in terms of wingnuttiness.

I find it amusing how many people say what you just said when they haven't even watched it.

I invite you to read the peer-reviewed scientific papers outlining the physical anomalies of the 'official' story before you make such a hasty assessment.

http://www.st911.org/

It's simple physics. The truth should be able to withstand scrutiny. If you are so certain that you are right, then it won't hurt to just take a look at what the physics professors have to say, right?

Wait wait...

So you mean to tell me that the same government that couldn't keep a minor sex scandal (Foley) under wraps has managed to keep up what would be a conspiracy on the scale of the "Illuminati?"

Pardon me while I remain skeptical and err on the side of Occam.

By the way, you noticed that there aren't that many structural engineers associated with st911, right? I think I saw 3. It's great that some physicists are dabbling in fields not related to their own, but I'm as likely to trust a physicist on structural engineering as I am to trust Duane Gish on evolutionary biology.

Oh, and way to ASSume I haven't watched Loose Change, as painfully bad as it was.

Bush has no character. Because then he wouldn't have been able to almost completely stop pursuing Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and decide to pursue a man of no immediate threat. No character whatsoever.

View www.loosechange911.com ....it'll give the info on this.

Does anyone at all realize that George Bush LIED to his entire country? Sorry if you've brought it up I haven't really read all of the posts. But what if 9/11 was a government plot? Not that I really believe in that crap, but really. All of the 9/11 Conspiracy sites are throught the government. What if they want us to know or at least think that they are capable of such a plan and are trying to keep Americans under their rule with less and less freedom? George W. is a war-type. He wanted a reason to go invade Iraq. What the heck did Iraq do to US??? Nothing, Bush just wants their oil. Bush is a crule, lying, ignorant man. Did you know in a speech he said, "A big question are is our children getting a good education?" You can call that a mistake, I call him an idiot. And he looks like a monkey. Haha, just pointing that out for kicks.

Again....view www.loosechange911.com.

Iraq was an unstable regime run by a cruel dictator. If you're going to give Bush a hard time, however, keep in mind that Clinton was also responsible for maintaining the sanctions (which, by the way, probably hurt Iraqis more.) But they were okay, right? The UN approved them!

Yeah! They're trying to keep us under their rule...until 2008. Then their plans unravel and die. So sad.

Nothing, Bush just wants their oil.

If the only goal was to procure oil, why not just buy it at a lower cost? Why does the US continue to get most of its oil from Latin American and Canada?

I'm sure you've NEVER made a gaffe. Ever. Even Clinton made gaffes.

I see it's the high road for you.

Good post ari :) Refer to my PM.

WOW IM GETTING IN ON THIS. This will probably be the post that gets me banned from CC. Anyone that thinks 9/11 was/is a conspiracy is simply a dumb ass. Yeah, the govt KILLED 3000 of its own citizens just so they could start a war in Iraq which would get them OIL. Oh, yeah the prices of oil skyrocketed even while we were in Iraq. But I thought we were "stealing" oil from them. Wouldnt that make the prices go down? But I digress. 9/11 was def not a conspiracy, and loose change is nothing but a bunch of traitors to the US. The towers canpacked down because the structural support on certain floors FAILED, causing the weight of the entire building to come down on the rest of the building. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. Planes cant melt steel, but they sure as hell can weaken it to the point that it cant support tons of weight, thus causing a collapse. Hmm what else??? Oh yeah! FLIGHT 93 WAS SHOT DOWN! BS BS BS! The nearest fighter planes were miles away. Oh what are you going to say now, that they were told to stand down? Is that why they were flying around manhattan at about 11am? Loose change is filled with its own loose change.

Wait... traitors? How are they traitors?

K so I went off the deep end a bit...but cmon! How can they HONESTLY BELIEVE THIS CRAP?!

Conspiracy theories are sexy. They're fun. They're way more fun to believe than simple, "it happened the way it happened" explanations. It lets people believe that it wasn't just that their government got caught with its pants down, but that it was in fact an evil conspiracy on the part of a specific segment of the government.

In some ways, it's comforting. It's nice to believe that with a few simple changes, a new regime, and some good ol' American pride, we can prevent it from happening again.

I mean, on a personal note, I think they're as wingbatty as the moon landing people, but whatever.
