Rejected
2080 SAT
3.8 GPA
@collegewhat1234 you’re most likely going to have to commit/submit your deposit to another school, then wait from gw during the month of may to find out whether or not you’ve been accepted off the waitlist. the school has to wait until may 1 to see how many people commit before they can tell how many people they can accept off the waitlist. good luck!!
In case anyone finds this useful:
Rejected with a 2200 SAT, 3.6 UW GPA, 300 community service hours, and lots of ECs including political internship with a Congressman
Is anyone else’s application still under review? I’m really not happy that they decided to send out decisions right when they turn the phones off in the office.
@collegewhat1234 I don’t think it’s a binding agreement. We’re just saying that we want to still be considered for admission and will remain on the waitlist
@goomba123 then why be on the wait list if your already committed to another school. It’s confusing, GW is one of my top schools but would only go there if I receive a good amount of money.
2090 SAT, 31 ACT, 4.1 W GPA, captain of two varsity sports, editor of literary magazine, 4-year participant in many clubs, great essay, and I work 20-25 hours a week. Rejected. Can someone please explain because I am shocked.
Congratulations to all who were accepted. For those who received merit $, which GW colleges/schools did you apply to and how much was the merit award?

@collegewhat1234 it’s just so that you have a backup in case you aren’t accepted off the waitlist. but if you are, all that happens is you lose your deposit at the school you first committed to. then you can commit to the offer from the waitlist.
