I got in!!! Swiss/French applicant with a 1370 SAT (I know this is not Georgetown standards)… I guess my essays were good because the interview wasn’t amazing either.
Correction. Even though it was 0.47 postage, it was not a rejection but a waitlist. Still have hope! G_d works in mysterious ways.
I’m in NJ and i still haven’t gotten my letter…should i be worried?
I’m in NJ and I haven’t gotten mine either! I’m very nervous but if it’s many people, it could just be the mail.
rejected
GPA: 3.83 W and around 3.74 UW
SAT: 1430 / 690 (reading/writing) + 740 (math)
@sufferingkat maybe the mail is just really slow…
I hope so. NJ is the only place I’ve heard of this happening.
Just got my financial aid letter in NYC!
Rejected, got it in the mail. 47 cent stamp, northern NJ
Chicago
Haven’t gotten my letter
Eastern Mass and I haven’t gotten my letter but people in my town have…
have any other internationals (or US citizens/residents living abroad) not gotten a decision yet?
I just checked my mail, no Georgetown letter, Los Angeles. Everyone else from my school has gotten theirs already and has been rejected or waitlisted. Sign of acceptance or cruel mail delivery services? Who knows? thinking emoji
same case for me @kmamba
Daughter was thrilled to get the thick envelope-- acceptance letter–yesterday in regular USPS mail here in Miami. ACT 35, GPA- 3.8 with rowing, lifelong volunteer work, science leadership and foreign languages.
@vpevpe Is your daughter going to row for Gtown?
@lifewithemily06 I have not received an email from Georgetown yet. I also checked my physical mailbox but idk what I was expecting because it takes 3 weeks for US mail to get here. I wonder if they just forgot about us lol.
I haven’t received anything either! No email, mail, nothing. I think Gtown probably should have sent out an email stating that intenational kids would receive their decisions later, because releasing decisions randomly like this is pure torture for stressed-out seniors (all I do is refresh my email lol). I’ll let you know if I receive anything
.
I am still waiting for my Georgetown decision so I contacted the Admissions Office which told me that letters were sent last night and that if my school was located in the US I should also received an email on the 27th. Since I had not received such email I was wondering if anyone here did receive it
