I agree, anything over .60 is an acceptance. .50 with window is rejection standard letter. .50 without window is waitlist.
Does anyone know waitlist statistics?
@MrRobot2018 Could be the case, but all of my waitlists that I’ve recieved from other schools have only been a single page. Looks like no one will know for sure until they actually open it.
@MrRobot2018 my EA acceptance had my name printed on the outside of the envelope (no clear windows) and .68 postage.
@2022328 CDS from fall 2017 applicants indicates 2473 offered wait list, 1571 accepted wait list and 50 were admitted from wait list. GT hasn’t published CDS stats for last year’s class.

Informed delivery says my daughter (white female) is receiving .50 without window. We live 35 miles west in Northern Virginia. Don’t know what to make of this since yesterday a person from NOVA received an acceptance in a .50 envelope but I’m resigned to the fact it’s most likely a rejection.
Has anyone applied to the Faculty of Languages & Linguistics within Georgetown College like my daughter? She wants to study linguistics & French.
Georgetown was her “reach” school.
Acceptances: W&M, American, Va Tech (Honors College), Univ of Vermont (Honors College).
Waitlist: UVa
Stats: SAT reading: 740, SAT math: 700, SAT subject tests in French w/listening, Lit, & US History: 740, 730, 720. GPA: 4.35/class rank: 31/700 (top 5% - large public high school); extracurriculars run deep in orchestra & French in addition to academic honor societies & volunteer work (e.g., 1st chair viola & numerous orchestras at county/regional/professional level - we live in 2nd largest county in Virginia with 1/2 million pop.; French includes Va Governor’s French Academy (highly selective statewide full immersion program for 3 weeks) & experiences abroad including French-German school in Germany); essays: excellent; recommendations: excellent

.50 with a window coming our way. Why are they all so different? Trying to throw us off? Ugh. I just want the mail NOW.
Starting to wonder if the different letter forms are from different schools. Does each school send different letters with different envelopes and different postage’s.
