Where did you see that? I must be missing something.
The last thing I see posted is a video on Jack the Bulldog.
From Facebook: Georgetown University Office of Student Financial Services shared Georgetown University Office of Undergraduate Admissions’s post.

After working hard to read almost 7,000 Early Action applications, Jack took a quick break while we put our decisions in the mail.
yes, @klb222, that’s the post I’m talking about, does that imply that they mailed the letters out yesterday?
Yes, the last sentence of the post says they put their decisions in the mail (Dec12).
I don’t see this post. I wonder if it’s not set to public?
Does no one see the glaring 2014, or am I just crazy?
but doesn’t that post say 2014? not 2016?
Oh, wow, well that could be the problem. I see they just updated their cover photo to a beautiful sunset.
You’re right, it is from 2014! I didn’t notice that. I don’t know why it’s showing up at the top of my FB feed.
@klb222 that says 2014
it shows up on the top of my FB feed as well, that does say 2014, this waiting without knowing is nerve racking.
Ok @katkatkatkat so Georgetown only emails you when you’re missing something from their application. That’s why they emailed you about the SAT scores. They won’t send another email notifying you that they received. You should only be worried if they emailed you again saying that they didn’t receive the screenshots. So you’re good Don’t worry
Yes, I have heard multiple times that if they are missing anything, they will contact you.
Has anyone checked the mail today? Could they be sitting in there?
@doloresabernathy I’m in NOVA and there was nothing in the mail sadly!
@doloresabernathy I live in NC and I checked an hour ago, nothing from GU. Wish they would tell us what’s going on.
Do we know last year’s rate?? I thought 17 but not sure?
I just checked the student profile from last year. I only saw an overall acceptance rate, not broken down by EA and RD. Said 17%. I know it’s harder to get in EA, but more qualified candidates typically apply. So not sure if there was a different acceptance rate for EA.
Letters were mailed today. They just posted.
