***GEORGETOWN CLASS OF 2021 APPLICANT THREAD***

Everyone must be trying to call them right now… can’t get on the line with them.

Yeah I’m getting “User Busy” when I try.

Yeah lol it’s not working, cuz everyone is a calllng.

If anyone gets hold of the office, can you please tell us what they said?

I got through to them; their line operator asked me my name and date of birth, and then she put me on hold as she transferred me to an admissions officer who told me my decision.

I called as well, I got deferred

I called, they asked my name and date of birth. I got deferred.

This is odd…my child applied RD. She received a letter yesterday saying she was deferred…what the heck? The letter was all faded with the middle paragraph completely blank and all we could decipher was “deferred”. She submitted her application back in October, could she have been accidentally put in the EA pile? Wondering what if anything she should do?

I am too nervous to call and our family is headed to break today after exams and the mail didn’t arrive till 6pm yesterday. Do you think my counselor knows? Will at some point soon we will be able to tell online?

Just called… Accepted! I’m so ecstatic!

I called and was deferred to RD , i expected this but it still hurts

The line is busy! This is so nerve racking

@luckyshamrock I doubt the counselors know. They only do mail and calls, so if you want to know you’re going to have to call.

I called! Admitted!

Finally got through! Accepted

congrats yall - so jealous

is it dumb of me to wait for the letter? would rather get the news that way than from an admissions officer

No, I’m doing the same. I would rather have the experience of not knowing as I open the letter. It’s more exciting that way!

That being said, I HATE that I don’t have a decision yet. I’ve been extremely anxious all week just waiting.

@deparent SAME. when people say “their stomach is in knots” w/ stress, it’s true. my stomach has been physically hurting since last week. i am SO nervous. but at least we are in it together! just a few more hours, we’ve got this!
