I got a phone call tonight saying I was accepted!

I got a call today congratulating me from a student group at Georgetown, told me to ask to join the Facebook group and informed me of an accepted student’s open house in March!

Wait, so did everyone who got accepted get a phone call today?

@TBBT123 no not everyone who got in got a phone call

That’s weird, y did they do that?

@TBBT123 I just want to know already!

@AllyGraves HAHA, yeah me too. I didn’t get mine today either, and I’m in LA. How did you know that not everyone got a call?

hopefully it’ll come tomorrow :(

If we did not get it today, does that mean that we were probably not accepted?

@TBBT123 because my friend farther east who applied and got in got an acceptance letter and no phone call! C’mon LA USPS…

Do you guys know if they still making phone calls tomorrow?

where do the people who are getting phone calls live?

@muricabound @alcobendascf yea there have been several international students that have heard back already! (myself included)

we got an email around dec 12 that had our decision attached

@reteamnosleep that’s crazy how you guys got your emails dec 12, yet i have nothing from Georgetown at all. the anticipation is driving me crazy

I got my phone call in Arizona yesterday evening.

My son was deferred in Pa! Congrats to all who were excepted!

Deferred >.< I just wanna get one major acceptance…

deffered:(

For those asking about phone calls, we are doing (hopefully all) of the West Coast and Texas tonight!

Also, pretty much everyone else who was admitted this round should’ve gotten a call last night and if you didn’t, either your phone number didn’t work or we left a voicemail.

Mail has arrived in Dallas and still no letter. I would rather my son have a heads up about whether he’s getting the phone call instead of waiting all night for a call that may never come. Could he get email notification of acceptance or deferral?
