Georgetown Pol Sci vs NYU STERN BPE

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I am a senior at high school who recently got accepted into
NYU STERN BPE and Georgetown Political Science</p>

<p>I wish to pursue business of some sort in the future
and I am still undecided as to which school to go to.</p>

<p>I know that Georgetown is a great school and also one of the top pol sci school,
but as a person not at all interested in working at government or being a lawyer
I just don't see how pol sci major can help me with my future career of being a business man.</p>

<p>But since Georgetown (as I know: totally biased) is more prestigious than NYU Stern,
I am quite unsure as to whether it is a better decision to forgo Georgetown and go to NYU Stern instead.
Also, I am not really sure of how BPE will help me pursue business in the future</p>

<p>Also, I am planning on doing MBA at grad, so studying business in undergraduate is not really necessary...</p>

<p>It would be awesome to hear some advice from you guys.</p>

If so, what types of practical majors are there to pursue if I want to do business in the future?</li>

<p>It is definitely possible to change your major at Georgetown, and McDanugh is awesome too. But I believe that NYU Stern is very prestigious, more so than NYU itself I think. You’ll probably have great internships with business and finance in NY, but I’m sure there are great International business internships at Gtown. DC is a great town for any type of internship, and you can definitely explore some political ones too if you change your mind. You have two really great options in my opinion, I hope you love whichever you choose! </p>

<p>Dude… NYU stern is prestigious enough as it is… but BPE is very very selective, and while it’s not renound program as of now, that’s only because it is fairly new. I’m sure in the near future it’ll catch fire. Btw, what were your stats? </p>
