Yep! Haha, I’d love to know where I’m going to school next year…

I was just able to talk to someone in the student finances office and get my aid package! A bit more in loans than the net price calculator had listed, but still a very generous package overall. I’ll be attending in the fall! :)

Well, I think I may be seeing some of you all next year! Especially since USC gave me less than $2,000 in grant aid vs. $30,000 at Georgetown; who knew there could be such huge differences in FA at comparable schools! Anyway, good luck to all those still waiting, and hopefully I’ll get to meet some of you in the fall!

Has anyone else heard back recently? Anyone else accepted??

i called georgetown admissions and asked that since i have not received a decision yet can it be assumed that i am rejected? they said no, this most likely just means that they haven’t gotten to your application yet or haven’t made a decision on it. i find this odd since it seems that a good amount of people have been accepted already. i’m not sure if he just said what he did to make me feel better, but at this point it’d be nice to get some sort of answer - whether acceptance or denial. i applied to the mcdonough school of business if that makes any difference.

I also applied to MSB and have yet to hear back. Maybe there will be another wave of emails this week. Good luck to everyone!

Hopefully!

if we have not heard back yet, can it be assumed that we have been rejected? it’s already may 15

I just got an early read - waitlisted.

Does anyone know how many people were placed onto the waitlist last year and how many were offered admission?

@transferkid44 what are your stats??

So has anyone else heard back yet?

@transfer84

3.6 GPA from a CC
2100 SAT

Hey Transferkid 44, do you think you might tell me the number you called for an early read?

I also need to get this asap.

@jedi didn’t you call for an early read like a few weeks ago lol ?

@transferkid44 if you don’t mind me asking, what were your hs stats and ECs like?

@jedi

I don’t remember the exact number but all you have to do is call the undergraduate admissions office and explain that you have a deadline. They then ask which school you applied to and what major you selected. After this, they give you the email address of the counselor who is responsible for your application. You then need to send proof that you have a deadline to this counselor and request an early read. It took two business days for my counselor to get back to me.

@transfer84

I think my hs GPA was about a 3.6 or 3.7 UW
EC’s - varsity sports, volunteer work, leadership positions, part time job as a manager…Most of my EC’s were very focused and I continued them in college as well.

Hope this helps…I’m sick of these waiting lists though. I’m on three -_-

There isn’t much time left, so whatever the result gonna be, we will feel released soon enough.

Just to update my progress: finished my Spring semester a week ago and were asked to submit my grades immediately… I did that… and now GT wants my official transcript, which will take another 5 to 10 more days… things just kept poping out, and it seems like it is going to take forever for GT to even start looking at my application, they want this at this second and they want that at the next…

Hey Trakke, I did call for an early read, though they didn’t really give me anything.

Don’t worry so much guys. One of my friends last year got accepted to MSB in June as a transfer.

I also applied to MSB though, from a ccc as an incoming jr. I had a 3.87 college gpa and a 2100 SAT (770 math, 650 cr)

A few internships, one senator, one accounting, finished all math courses, and took some harder science classes, a few clubs ,the usual lol

ill23will4: you are so nice! every time I start losing patience or confidence, there are always guys like you coming out and strengthen our wills.

Btw, I sent GT my official transcript today, hopefully they can begin looking at my application…
