I heard that Marylanders usually get their letters much earlier, for example on the 10th or something… Can anyone confirm that?
It’s annoying how the notification comes 10 days after the SAT II are administered…

Runner_dean: you got the notice by email? Do they send “complete app” emails too?

So I’m a little confused. Are the decisions supposed to be sent out or are we supposed to receive them on the 15th? I was under the impression that we wouldn’t be getting them until later that week. It doesn’t really matter I guess. The wait is killing me, but what’s one or two more days at this point? If we get deferred we’ll be waiting until April… but hopefully that won’t happen. :)

They mail them out when they’re done. According to recent history, they have been received before Dec 15th. If I had to guess, I would think that they’d have them mailed the Friday before (December 11th), just to end the business week.

I had the most horrible dream last night. I received a mail from Glencoe University (which of course doesn’t exist), which I mistook for a mail from Georgetown. So I was ecstatic for 10 minutes before I realized that I made a mistake.
And then I received a mail from Georgetown, saying that I was rejected, with huge red letters across the front: “SUBJECTS TESTS REQUIREMENT NOT COMPLETED.”
This is killing me.

that dream is very funny, beta61. let’s try and think positively!

do they email or mail the decisions?

also fat envelope= accept and small=deffer again?

Read the beginning of the thread, Cacciato, I believe it is answered there.

Good luck guys I couldn’t finish my essays on time so I decided to do RD I can’t figure out how to answer the “describe yourself” essay… :P

Good luck!

Hey guys,
I’m probably one of a few internationals who applied under EA. Do you know whether we, internationals, will receive mails or rather e-mails with the decision? I’m quite curious about their decision as I did not do particularly well on the Critical Reading section (may testing date) scoring 520, but Math was pretty strong 700. I did better in November improving those two sections by 70points but I did not send them to GTown…

I believe that if they really want me, they’ll accept me ;d that’s a point.

internationals get emails.

countdown: t-17 days (maybe less if you’re lucky!)

or unlucky if you get a deadly decision…

I’m international too! >.< Well, actually i’m an american citizen living outside the country. I’m so glad georgetown sends emails to international applicants (unlike schools like notre dame…) otherwise it would take AGES getting here…

Good luck everyone!

hey my interview was waved because there was no representative in my area and i called the office and everything and they were saying there is nothing that can be done. You think that’s gonna hurt my admissions?

oceanangel, great! where do you live? You’re lucky you got an American citizenship, which I don’t have. Anyways, good luck you to you all;)

zakiz91, btw, my interview was not even tried to be arranged as there are NO Georgetown representatives in my country. I’ll be the first one;)

Wow, what country are you from, literak?

TheRoad, I’m from Poland. Yet does it really matter where people come from? we’re all united in the contemporary world.

Yeah, im in Karachi Pakistan, born on the small island of mauritius

zakiz91, you’re so lucky:) A friend of mine lives on Mauritius! I heard it’s awesome there!

The wait is killing me. And I live in California so those of us out here will likely be the last batch to get our letters. 17 days - fingers crossed.
