Georgetown University Early Action 2014

Sorry kaY*J! That’s disappointing news but hopefully you’ll get better news in the regular round!

tywish, it depends whether mail moves on Sundays or not… since I think it does (despite not being delivered), California kids (me too) hopefully WILL receive letters today. I dunno though, I’d give it like a 50/50 chance. If the delivery time is truly 3 BUSINESS days (as in mail literally freezes on Sundays), then it’ll be tomorrow. Obviously the possibility of it arriving Tuesday didn’t stop me from waking up with a blistering headache and stomachache… so nervous!

Does anyone know what time eastern do the emails get sent out :S im so scared ahhhh the wait is killing em and hahah like everyone here i cant get anything done

deferred…this is the worst day of my life bar none

you get it by mail, not email. if you live on the east coast most likely today. i’m so sorry griffon! :(

accepted :D

congrats!!

oh im an international student so i will get it by mail i just want to know wat time to stay awake till because 12 am pst is gonna be my 8 am tom

@Griffonr - Still hope for RD, yea?

Congrats to those accepted. I’m still waiting.

Waiting, waiting, waiting. Sigh. :/

I didn’t send subject tests so for everyone freaking out about that, it is still possible to get in without them.

There’s a sliver of hope, yes…but the 10% acceptance rate for EA deferrals doesn’t really mitigate my anxiety. I feel rejected already, and they’ll send me the one in April post mortem…

awful

sandwich101 can you post stats?

ohh and of course, CONGRATS! :)

My stomach is so knotted up right now I think I’m going to throw up:(

I think they still send out mail on Sundays even though it’s not delivered to our houses. Anyone in the southwest get their letters yet??

ACCEPTED!!

good luck to all!

What were your stats poohbear212?? Please and thank you!

I stayed home from school today to study Chinese for my final (taking it at a Uni, the final’s this afternoon >.<). Plus, I can get my letter earlier :D

I’ve been looking out the window every time a car goes by, hoping it’s the mail truck.

I’m working at home today so I can be here at 3:00 p.m. when our mail comes. My daughter is a cheerleader and has practice today until 6:00 p.m. So, if the letter arrives, I promised to text the result to her.

I totally understand what you kids are going through. I’ve been a nervous wreck since noon, and as 3:00 p.m. gets closer, the agony only increases.

Good luck to all.
