i will post stats in the appropriate forum :)

deferred… lackluster GPA probably killed me for EA :(

at least I have a little bit more time to send in more credentials…

I’m from Arizona, and I unfortunately got deferred :frowning: Can’t say I’m too surprised, I don’t think I stood out enough EC-wise. I kind of tend to obsess about a couple things, and spend all my time with those few things, rather than join a bunch of different clubs, but I admire all of you who can  Congrats to everybody who got in, and to everybody who got deferred, keep your chin up. You never know, this decision could lead you to go somewhere else where you have the time of your life.

i work 10 hours a week at a local magazine, too

then some generic awards, blah blah

soo i guess i just posted this in hopes of reassurance that i have a mediocre chance at regular…?

OH and gpa… 96.88… my school doesnt rank

^ Did you apply FLL or something really competitive bc im surprised that you didnt get in

Deferred. 10char

ACCEPTED!!! I’ll post stats in the other forum, too!

Yeah same, you seem very qualified, especially for the college. You FOR SURE have a good chance at regular, especially if i got in. What state are you in? Because if it’s in the northeast, that may have hurt you. I’m glad I get to live in the gunshine state, so much less competitive.

I just got the news from my mom – deferred to RD. Oh, well. Sort of another shot, I guess. Congrats to everyone who got in! =D

no, i applied to the college
i guess the fact that im a white female from NY hurt me :frowning: but thanks so much for the reassurance i needed a little confidence boost… it probably also didnt help that the valedictorian from my school applied early…

Has anyone in California received their Georgetown early action letter yet?

eagle2010 - I’m so sorry man, when I read that my heart dropped, I was rooting for you to pull an acceptance out of all of these deferrals. Until April for us…

Yep I’m in California.

what city?
