Hi guys, I got into georgetown EA (and committed) and there have been ~30 new people on the Instagram group yesterday. I’m not sure if all of them are from the waitlist but it seems like it’s moving.
Also, I’m on waitlists for other schools so if I get off there, I will let y’all know. That’ll free up a space for the College.

@chickennoodlesoupppppp Congrats. Did you likewise get a call from your Admissions Officer? Also, which State are you from? I’m trying to figure out whether they are admitting across the line or from particular regions. Thx.
My son was offered a spot at MSB today. He had received an email Monday, then a call from the AO yesterday. We are in Massachusetts.

Has anyone not from the east coast heard anything?? So far on this thread and the reddit one I’ve only seen kids get in from the waitlist who are on the east coast.
We were wondering that too. We’re in south Florida…but it seems like most are within a certain distance.

Yes. My son applied to The College.
I applied to the college and was waitlisted. Got an email and a phone call from admissions rep today to confirm my interest (I said yes!) and then she said she’ll be bringing my app to the committee tomorrow morning and will call again afterwards.
Is this good news??

If you haven’t received an email+call yet, do you think they will do another round(s) of them up until May 15?
Is it possible to be admitted via portal decision on May 15 without ever having been called? (It seems like emails+calls always lead to admission, but I’ve seen posts that seem like they only got a portal decision on May 15 and never any prior calls and I wanted to know if that’s a possibility).
Sorry if this was asked already but how many days are they giving you guys that got in to reply? I’m thinking if there is a next round it will coincide with the results of this first round to a certain extent.
As everyone expected, I feel like the wait lists are moving NOW everywhere. So while there may be movement up through July, I think the majority is happening now. Which is disappointing because we are really hoping Georgetown comes through, but it’s out of our hands.
On the phone call they told her 5 days from when she receives the email confirmation which would be in 1-2 days from the phone call. Short fuse for sure!
