SternOinferno;
We are from CT and nothing came in mail, so my son called the admissions office - and they told him he was on the extended wait list. If you have not heard you can call and they will tell you over the phone. Frustrating I know.

So in the meantime, where is everyone going?

(Assuming that this extended waitlist thing doesn’t work out…)

I’m going to Berkeley! I didn’t get off the waiting list even though I sent in extra materials which i thought could help get off. Everything happens for a reason and I hope Berkeley will take me to great places!

Congratulations BoomerV - you’re off to an amazing school, my dad’s alma mater. We would be thrilled to have our hoya daugther come back to the west coast for grad school or law school at Cal. Go Bears!

Deep congratulations BoomerV! It looks like I am going to Virginia.

Any updates on the extended waitlist Anyone received any letter or phone call? Do you know if GT is going to announce everyone by snail mail on June 30th or they are already started contacting Extended waitlist kids?

They called me two days ago and I missed the call cause I was at work. So, they should be calling everyone by now.

Thanks Weemiester. My daughter did not receive any call so far. :(

@ hotspur. Have your school contact SFS. Some accepted students might decide to go to Harvard, Yale or Princeton( schools that have simiiar programs and caiber) or due tothe difference in financial aid support.

Visit the admission office if you can or contact their local alumni.

By the way, what country are you from? It could make a difference. Any other American universities offers?
