<p>umm GT uses a point system?.. like 500*GPA + SAT(maths+CR) ? what is the minimum criteria then?</p>
<p>That is the freshman index, which determines if you are qualified to apply. </p>
<p>If you apply and your FI is below 2400, it’s an automatic reject. That’s the policy of the University System of Georgia (all public schools in Georgia), not Georgia Tech policy.</p>
<p>ah ok… sorry for asking this here but if there is a recent achievement or award, can we report that to Tech now?</p>
<p>^ I think you only report the achievements for senior year if you get rejected and decide to appeal the decision. It’s usually like that for most universities, given that they allow appeals to take place. I don’t know specifically about how GT does it, but I’d be willing to bet that is how it is.</p>
