Getting a C...

How bad is getting a C? I am a junior this year and may get my first C's ever in IB English and IB Film.
My grades (most likely):
Hon Precal-A
AP Chem-A
IB History-B
IB French 6-B
IB English-C
IB Film-C

All the rest of high school I've taken the most rigorous course load possible and have gotten all B's and A's.

One C won’t break you. A C won’t change your life in anyway. I got my first C Freshman year lol. Also you’re taking IB courses which are difficult, so I wouldn’t worry that much. When I got my C, it was a reality check, this grade taught me to spend more time studying, asking for more help and staying after school. My story might be totally different from yours, but I was afraid that people were going to call me, “dumb” or “stupid” if I didn’t pick up a concept quick enough like everyone else did and I didn’t ask for help to make myself look smart lol…biggest mistake of my life. Now, a Junior like you, I bug the crap out of my teachers. I bombard them with questions here and there. One teacher got so annoyed, he yelled at me :P

I guess I’m just upset about it. My parents are too but I’ll figure it out

I remember my first C. Sophomore year in AP Physics B. I cried, but then I got over it. I’m still disappointed in myself for it, not gonna lie, but you can still pull that GPA up. With solid improvement in your grades, you shouldn’t stress too much about one C. :)

Never mind about this. I’m getting a B in film, he moved a project until next quarter because of the hurricane (THANK GOD). And IB English my teacher NEVER puts anything in so I really have no idea what I’m getting. For all I know I’m getting a D. He has 2 quizzes and a test left to put in, not to mention classwork.

My first C was in Geometry, Sophomore year. I was so distress. That C is the reason I’m striving for all A’s this year.
