Hello, so today was the last day of first semester and ughhhh I bombed my spanish final and now I think i might end up with a low C or an F in the class.
I AM SO SCARED.
Yes, it's my fault that I didn't study enough but now that it's happening idk what to expect..
I applied to UC schools and some private ( not like ivy league tho)
and I'm aiming for UCSD. (SAT2100 UCGPA 4.1)but now my dream is crushed LOL
my current GPA is 4.4 tho... cuz I have all A's except my Dual Spanish course.
it is not a-g requirement and it is actually a college course so idk how it works.. so scared.
I talked to my teacher and she said she doesn't know since she didn't grade the tests yet but she promised me that she will bump me up to a C if I end up with a 68/69.
idk .. dual enrollment still counts right? so I know getting an F or a C is like end of the world to colleges but my GPA is high and all my other classes are good. Do you think the admission officers will not even look at them and just focus on the F?
i mean i will know by monday if I have an F or not but mannn so scary...

LOL I HAVE A C IN AP CALC

For UC’s, getting a D or F will put in jeopardy of having any acceptances rescinded. A C will not hurt you unless you cannot maintain a 3.0 unweighted for the rest of your Senior year. If you get a D or F, you must retake the class and contact your GC immediately.

so although my spanish class is a college course, I have to retake it?

If anyone out in CC land knows different, dual enrollment classes will be on your final HS transcript, so part of your HS record. I would definitely check with your GC, but yes you would need to retake.
