So I know that they save classes to make sure that each Freshman Orientation group has a chance to get classes, but I was wondering to what extent. I’ve seen people on here talk about how they picked classes at the end of their orientation group so they ended up with all gen ed courses or random things that happened to be left. I got accepted to the biomedical engineering major and the sample four year plan they have is a pretty tight squeeze to get everything in because the first two years is basically pre reqs for everything. So when they set aside classes do they assume that everyone in the engineering college will need chemistry or physics and calculus (not because engineering is more important because when I was rereading it sounded that way, just because everyone in that orientation session needs those classes for their major) first semester or do they set aside a similar number to the other colleges? Thank you!
