I got into Revelle college as undeclared. I'm still deciding which school to go to, and I plan to have computer science as a major, but I noticed that it was a impacted major. I was wondering what the application process is like and how difficult it would be to get my major. Is it worth going to this school with the uncertainty of getting my major or would I just be wasting my time?

^^Look there for more info. I’m not in the same boat as you but I entered as an undeclared major and was accepted into the biochemistry/cell biology major through exceptional admission since all bio majors were impacted when I applied to UCSD (lo and behold, bio majors were no longer impacted right after I got in through exceptional admission -.- but that’s beside the point…). At the moment it seems like they haven’t finalized the requirements but to be honest I don’t think it is THAT hard to get in through exceptional admission since I know a few people who were accepted into the impacted bio majors with a ~3.5 GPA so as long as you do well in your classes in your first two years of college, you’ll be fine :)
