<p>What's a good clothing idea for a birthday present for a guy? I was thinking a Track Jacket but he already has one. </p>

<p>A gift certificate. Buying clothes for anybody is risky, let alone if you are a girl trying to buy for a guy or vice versa.</p>

<p>Depending on what he likes to wear, either a sweater/sweatshirt or a dress shirt. But gift certificates are always good.</p>

<p>i recommend buying him a gift certificate to American Eagle or Abercrombie. they tend to be pretty guy friendly and are palatable to most guy's tastes.</p>

<p>If you want to go the gift card route, get him one to Best Buy so that he can buy CDs or DVDs or games. That sort of stuff is usually pretty safe.</p>
<p>Another idea would be to buy or make him some food. Guys love food. Especially from girls. ;)</p>

<p>I'm a guy, and I don't necessarily hate ALL shopping. For example, I don't mind shopping for things for myself, like clothes, computers, etc. as long as I go in, buy and leave. When shopping with someone, especially with a girl, I hate it because it takes a really LONG time (especially shopping for shoes. What is is with girls and shoes?).</p>
<p>i agree, shopping with girls is suuuuchhh a pain, esp if they are into jessica simpson, or even worse, ashley and her on and off bf.</p>
<p>I think to many women, shopping is like a sport... similar to what hunting is to a guy. </p>
<p>Its not about quickly grabbing a few items, but carefully searching for the best at the best price. For me(a female) I go shopping with nothing in mind but always seem to come home with something great. My friends always joke that its not about the final price but the relative value. Plus, to females its a social thing... I don't see that many guys roadtrip to go to a great mall...LOL</p>
