Girls At UCR

So heres the deal. I've been accepted to UCR and most likely am gonna go, I visited the campus and its pretty nice contrary to what others have said.

Pentland seems to be the most beautiful of all the residental halls. They seem to have a plethora of things to do. Arcade, Gym, Game room.

while i was walking around i noticed few if any attractive women. but then come to realize that the students were all just returning from spring break.

So is Riverside bombarded with unattractive girls, or am i missing the other half of the picture. ?

There is a certain mix of girls from hawt as ***** to ugly as *****, just like at every other university. However, for some reason there is a skew in where they reside on campus. Pentland, the most quiet and serious of residences, typically holds the least attractive females, where as A&I probably has the best looking, as it is more of a party dorm. Basically the females match the personality of the dorms they reside in. Its called stereotyping and it works.

very informative thanks and good day.

one other question while you're repping riverside.

Which Residental hall would you recommend i dorm in and why. and can you give the faqs on each of the dorms. I've visited and Penthill seems the nicest. but what about the dorm sizes and noise and people dorming. dont leave anything to chance !

Thank you and just so you know, id pay for this info

describe yourself, including your goals for college. then i can give a recommendation.

okay. Uh im easily bored. I like being known, Im open, Out going, Friendly at times, Can get a bit negative, In terms of traits, Tall, Asian, entertaining. Self- absorbed, cocky, Blunt, bit dim-witted. Funny, sarcastic, I guess charming, Talkative, Like open space. Like to be outdoors, Moody, logically at times, all in all, Different.

But dont take all that as a bad thing. It's just me being honest.

My goals are to get into med school through riverside. meet some people. get some of those recommendation letters, see the true world, be educated, learn to get along well, get some college experience, maybe pick up an attractive girl friend. Get married at 40. secure job, couple of stupid kids. Then vacationing.

Perhaps college goals dont go that far? or do they.

What I mean is:

Are you more focussed on studying or partying? Would you sacrifice .2 points of your GPA to get some action? Do you enjoy quiet places, or would you prefer a place where there is always a lot of socializing, even so much it will probably distract you from maximizing your potential?

The thing is you can socialize, study and all that for all 3 dorms but the peers around you will be different. If you would prefer a more quiet place that will allow you to study more often, then the palaces of Pentland Hills will be your best bet. However, if quiet hours drives you crazy, A&I is where you belong more so. As for Lothian, its for the people inbetween.

go stonehaven , where i living now,
it's very quiet and people are all nice , but no party permitted, but thats not much a deal
i party on weekends anyway

Sounds like A&I is the place for me.

I want the opportunity to be able to study as much as i can. and no i will not jeopardize my GPA to part. I need total silence to study, no music nothing.
I don't want to feel like im the only one in the whole Residental hall so its fine if people socialize, just not if front of my face.

But this post is beginning to lose its point because going by what you've said about each dorm Pentland seems the best for me.
