<p>My D just got an invitation to this. She's a jr, and GT is one of the school's she's considering. Anyone participate in this program, and, if so, how was your experience. Worthwhile?</p>

<p>I did girls night out. I'm from the atlanta area and before GNO I was kinda sorta thinking about tech but after I pretty much knew that it was my top pick. While walking around campus with my host I realized that I could see myself finding my niche at tech. I would definitely recommend it.</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply. Yeah, we're from central florida, and we were going to visit Tech this summer. Figured this "girls night out" might be the best way to get an idea what the school's like. My d's ambivalent right now because she's not thrilled with the idea of living in Atlanta. We vacationed there last year for several days, and I didn't pick a good location for the hotel. She kept comparing where we were to a vacation where we stayed in downtown Chicago, which was much more tourist and pedestrian friendly. </p>

<p>Tech is located a little north of downtown Atlanta. It is a beautiful grassy campus - almost like an oasis within the city.</p>
