I was wondering what you guys used. I wanted to get something different this year but don't have any ideas.

It feels like almost every girl at my school has a longchamp bag...which are the perfect size and easy to carry around. Vineyard Vine bags are pretty popular too

All I carry is a five subject notebook, a calculator and a handful of pens – because of that, I can get away with using just an oversized purse. If you’re carrying heavier things or a bunch of books, you might want to opt for a heavy duty bookbag.

I have a pink and black swiss gear laptop backpack which I carry around my notebooks, graphing calculator, and pencil case. I tried carrying some of the large purse type bags, but those wore out really fast and the straps weren’t the sturdiest.

I bought a North Face backpack. Really sturdy, but not too huge or masculine. On MWF, I have 3 classes that are ten minutes apart so carrying my things isn’t an option. I’m more for practicality so I would personally never carry my school things in a purse or bag. Buying a backpack is worth it for the support.

Urban outfitters has some great large purses. My D has been using them for a couple of years for her highschool “backpack”- they hold alot and are really strong. Look for something with pockets, if outside, that they zip- inside for cell phone, etc. My other D uses a leather messenger bag.

I’m a “bring everything except the kitchen sink…oh, hell, bring the kitchen sink too” type of girl, so I rely on a North Face backpack. I’m more for function than form, but I don’t think it looks too, too bad.

I carried my mom’s old LV tote around for my classes. During the day, I just carried around some looseleaf, a moleskin notepad as a planner, pens, and some incidentals. For when I actually needed to study, I would lug my textbooks and laptop to the library in a cheap canvas tote.

i just use a slightly oversized tote bag, or this 10 year old Old Navy men’s messenger bag that holds everythinggggg I will ever need ever. But I don’t carry that much.

I have three bags which fit my computer and books - one special MacCase which goes around one shoulder, one messenger bag from Jansport, and one shoulder bag which I believe to be the portal to another dimension because I can put anything in there but I can never find it again.

I put my computer in a bag since I worry about it being stolen but I just carry my books and notebooks.
