^^ I'm glad you understand my point. It is nearly impossible to predict who can get into a top tier school. Apply. You have nothing to lose except $70.

yup i totally agree.

I disagree. Schools like Hopkins and Penn are too unpredictable in their admissions to say that one has a better chance of being admitted to one over the other. They are different places and clearly look for different things through the process.

disagree about what?

"They are different places and clearly look for different things through the process." - true, but that's what YanksDolphin basically said lol. "It is nearly impossible to predict who can get into a top tier school."

kind of confused what you disagree with but i understand your point.

--update--

June ACT
composite: 33
.. pretty happy with this score.

I disagree with the following statement:

"You definitely have greater chances of acceptance here (Hopkins) than at UPenn"

In these applicant pools - it's just too hard to know.

oh you're talking about skp's post haha. but yeah i definitely agree with you then. i wouldn't doubt that it's possible that i would get denied from JHU and accepted at Penn or denied at both altogether. it really is too hard to predict.

Penn and Hopkins tend to share applicant pools so it's hard to tell who gets in. I know several people who got into Penn but chose Hopkins. Just as I'm sure you could go to Penn's campus and find many people who chose Penn over Hopkins.

I Agree With Yanksdolphins...you Really Can't Tell...its A Crapshoot Once You Get Decent Grades And Test Scores...so Everyone Admitted To Hopkins...you Pretty Much Won A Lottery Rather Than Deserved It.

hmm... lottery ... i should buy some tickets then. lol
