<p>Dima: Human beings may continue to advance their civilizations. This has nothing to do with physics and nothing to do with entropy. When a human being dies their body decomposes. That is the law of entropy in action. For your theory (on entropy being obsolete as humans continue to advance) to work, the humans in your figurative perfect society would have to be immortal. That's the only way they could break the law. Just because something becomes more technologically advanced doesn't mean that it is defying the law of entropy. Apples and oranges here, people. :)</p>

<p>Continuing with filmxoxo17's argument: The "chaos" defined by entropy and the "chaos" defined by humans are completely different -- science says chaos is disorder (elements mixing together, heat spreading out), while humans might say chaos is lack of government and civilization. We humans can create some order, but the scientific chaos still increases. The poster who started this argument simply misinterpreted the scientific law.</p>
