I am a National Merit Finalist, but was wondering if there was still a chance I could get one of the $2,500 Scholarships. My College isn't offering anything (University of Michigan) and My parents don't work for a corportation so I don't qualify for those. I haven't heard either way, Does the notice go to the student or the school?
My school may have recived something, but are notoriously bad about passing things on (didn't recieve information on the neccessary materials to apply for Finalist until week or so before it was due, they had it for atleast a month).
Thanks, I am new to all this

CrazyAK12…I guess there’s still a slim possibility, but NMSC started mailing out notifications of the $2500 awards on March 25th so you more than likely would’ve received your letter by now. The scholarship notification letter would be mailed to you directly, not to your school. The best way to be sure would be to call NMSC and ask them directly if all the $2500 scholarships have already been awarded. Good Luck!!
