Good ACT, not so good SAT

Okay, so I submitted my SAT (against my will, because I thought you had to send SAT IIs, but you actually don’t… grrrr) but it’s about 150 points lower than my ACT score. Here is the breakdown of my scores:

SAT: 590 M, 610 CR, 710 W (1200 or 1910)
SAT IIs: 660 English Lit, 680 Math IC
ACT: 30 composite

Basically my SATs are not that great, but everything else is pretty good. What do you think admissions will think about this?

i'd think they'd mainly look at your ACT score then. and your scores are definitely high enough for Boston U.

wouldn't worry about it too much. you're proved your capabilities on at least one standardized test which can be used to compare students across the country (and world). your sat IIs aren't half bad either but your right just your SAT alone would be a little weak..

Okay good, because I really liked BU when I visited and I think I have a pretty good shot at getting in, but that SAT score has me all worried!!!!

I was worried about that too.

My SAT is 600 Reading, 660 Writing and 500 Math.
I have a 3.87 weighted, 3.47 unweighted.
ACT Composite is 27, writing score of 10 if they look at that.

The SAT is a ******** test; I studied for it, do very well in math and english and still scored "low". haha
