Good Business schools in the US.

Hello,

I was attending the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, until the war broke out. I do not intend on going back. I am planning on applying to 3 or 4 universities in the United States for the the spring semester. I have completed 25 credits up till now and my average is 75.12%. I don't know how much that is in terms of GPA as our university does not deal with GPA's. I want to major in Business most probably finance. I was wondering if it is posibble for you to recommend a couple of good schools, that are not so hard to get in to, that offer a good undergraduate business program. I was accepted at Purdue for Fall 05, however I could not attend. I have emailed them and they told me that they wanted my university transcripts and my application form has been updated for spring.

Thank You

Wharton is definitely the best which is part of the university of pennsylvania.

The next tier include: NYU Stern, CMU Tepper, Umich Ross, Berkeley Haas

The next few tiers include: McIntire, McCombs, Flagler, etc.

I doubt my grades will get me into any of those universities. What do you think. I was just browsing the McIntire School of Commerce website. This is how they put it.
"Admission to the McIntire School of Commerce is highly competitive. As one of the nation's most rigorous business programs, McIntire attracts many highly qualified applicants."

Uh duh every college website writes that. I had that loser admission guy at Penn State (one of my safeties) tell me how competitve and hard it was to get in.

You should try Penn State and Indiana State and Wisconsin. I hear Upitt has a pretty nice bschool too.

well after i got rejected from Queen's university in Canada i started to actually believe what they say on their website. Anyway ill give it a go. Thanks a lot for your help. Which university do you attend if you dont mind me asking?

Stern. I know quite a lot about transfer admissions and they are more of a crapshoot than college admissions.
