Emory students, which dorms are the best and why?

good post although i believe we have no say but ive heard dobbs is the best socially but small and albama is huge and mcintyre is nice all around, kinda subjective though

You're right; there isn't any say. You just fill out all your preferences on the app, and they assign you accordingly. I was just curious though.

We still can choose roomates though, right?

Yes you can.

i thought mcintre was for juniors/seniors only?

mctyeire is for freshman, and its big, and nice

i think all the dorms at emory are nice considering how much money they have (like 5 billion dollars!?!??!?!?!??))).

I love this school, it's a shame i probably won't be going here because of money matters...

i'm a current emory student and I'd have to say that Complex is a great dorm due to its close proximity to most campus locations. It's close to the Emory village, right across the street from the library and business school, and a two minute walk from the quad. Plus, there is a great exercise room and the fact that there are three dorms in one building means that there are always new people to meet.

bah, i hate complex. i like dobbs more (no offense?). dobbs location is better and complex rooms are pretty small
although the gym is nice, ill admit
