@Thise guys who have applied to SELU: How can we apply to SELU? Should we complete the online application and send scanned documents or should we send documents via courier? Do we need to official SAT Scores or is attested test score enough?

You will have to send the documents through courier for sure. I do not know the rest.

talking about my experience i completed my high school very well and got into yale but due to certain personal problems i couldnt go there and applied for engineering in pulchowk. i am in final year here but trust me i am regretting my decision. few of my friends went to US without proper scholarship but they are able to find a way out. u get opportunities in US the only thing that matters is how u take it.

Well do u kno of any other of those safety colleges??? I saw UNO SELU… any more??

College Confidential has a “college search” program where you can select various criteria and receive a list of schools that match your input. I recommend it.

Tnx bud…but is this feature available on da android app?? Or only on da website itself??

I am currenlty studying in Pulchowk. I am not at all satisfied . Padhai ko state khattam xa. Ma ta us try garne bichaar ma xu. Mero year loss hunxa but still willing to scarifice two years for the sake of good education. What should i do?

Take SAT and apply as freshman or transfer student as you may like.

@Starrynight94 and others…I applied for fall 2015, but couldn’t get in because I applied to all top notch unis. I too have good SATs and almsot perfect subject test scores. Dont know if I should apply for spring (jan) 2016 or wait for fall 2016 or join Pulchowk / Thapathali( I qualify from entrance exam) here in Nepal? I would like to know what you did and which uni you are attending.
Thank You
After graduating from engineering colleges in Nepal, job opportunities suck if you do not have powerful relatives despite your good performance in college. I have seen my sister struggle to get a job after graduating from KU and she ranked 3rd in her class. Eventually, she got a job but was paid only 4000 rs. per month which is f****** depressing. Now, she is in USA doing her masters in engineering.
.
As a guy who did 3 semesters in pulchowk and then studied in US, I would definitely say US is much better. The opportunities are much better and the experience is so different.
@Starrynight94 I think you are exaggerating here. How on earth can an applicant with scores of 2140 in SAT, 2350 in SAT 2 not get in any good universities in US? Could you please tell me the universities that you applied into?
@Aguero That happens…SAT is not much…plus you also need to keep in mind the financial aid

I also got rejected everywhere. I can only pay 2.5k per year. Will going to consultancy and applying to average colleges be any help now? Is there any hope for me? Or should I prepare for pulchowk forgetting everything.
I am a purely academic driven person. My sole intention to apply to US was to get the best education possible and do meaningful research for the love of science. Will going to pulchowk or ku be a good choice if I want to go to MIT/Harvard level Unis for masters/Ph.D.? Is my dream over before it even began? Any feedback appreciated.
