Well, the big surge in decisions is out, and many of our CC members know where they stand with their colleges. On behalf of Dave, Sally, the rest of our counseling staff, and our hard-working mod team, congrats to everyone who got accepted! Statistically, the ultra-selective schools sent about 10 times as many rejections as acceptances, so if you did get a thin email you've got plenty of company - from what I read here, I'm sure even the members who picked up a rejection or two will still have great choices. And for those of you still waiting to hear, good luck!

Be sure to update your stats profile so you can let other CC members know what your choices are and so you can network with other CC members deciding on the same schools!

I am probably one of the oldest members and joined this board before my freshman year. I am now a senior and have several offers from great colleges.

Thanks, guys! I only discovered this site after applying, but it's been an invaluable resource, and I'm planning on sticking around.
I hope everyone else is getting at least some good news today.

CC is such a wonderful and informative resource. I feel very fortunate to have found it and I thank you, Roger, Dave, Sally and staff, but mostly all the fellow CC'ers who make this forum happen.

Ultimately, the college experience is what the student makes of it, so where ever you end up, go out and give it your very best!

Thank you so much CC, I can't thank you enough.

By fate, I found this website sometime during junior year, and I've never stopped visiting it since. It has helped me so much during the admissions process and I truly believe that it is because of this site that I was forced to study harder and be more competitive, allowing me to be accepted to my first choice college.

If you review CC for the colleges in which you're interesed before you begin the admissions process, you won't waste time applying to places that are outside of your reach - academically as well as financially. You can learn quite a lot from others' experiences. CC is a great tool!
