I'm thinking in majoring in biology/pre-med or psycology. Also I don't really want to go to a rural college or a really tiny school. I think that I would prefer a school either in California or the east coast so if you have any suggestions can you please give them to me... Thank you!!!

Case Western

any other ones?

Are you not considering the UC schools, or are you interested in private school recommendations only?

I'm considering UC schools as well...I just wanted to hear some colleges that may be good matches for me

You seem exactly like me..scores,GPA, biology/psychology.
Interestingly enough, i'm headed to Case Western next fall, and it seems like it may be a good fit for you.

A couple others:
University of Michigan
Cornell University- Reach
University of Rochester
NYU

sorry i dont know much about the west coast.

that's really interesting/weird, jakem333
i guess, i'll look into Case Western
but the more suggestions I get the better

cali_blondie:

Assuming you are a California resident,
UCB/UCLA: Match
UCSD: Safe Match
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Safety
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Super Safety

yeah, im a California resident

would USC be a good match for me?

USC would be a match...perhaps even falling into the Safety category, though it is a private Top 40 school and therefore a tad more unpredictable than the UCs. I know people with lower stats than you who have gotten in.

Out of curiousity...are you planning on retaking the SATs? It's not that you need to or have to, as a 2050 is a nice score...but pushing it above 2100 would definitely help if you were to apply to some place like Cornell, as mentioned by a poster above.

i probably won't retake to SATs, since i already took it twice and 2050 is my best score, but im taking the ACT next fall so that might help right?

any other match/slight reach suggestions?

You'd be a good match for me. Naw jk.

any other REAl ones?
