What are some of the best work study jobs for underclassmen that won't interfere with school work (flexible)

There are a bajillion. You could pick a job that is related to your major (ie a science major working in a lab) or just one that’s some easy cash (marino center, doing laundry). Definitely lots of options, and most are pretty flexible since that’s just the nature of work study. You’ll be able to start looking at job listings under Self-Service >> Student employment (may not be available until closer to the school year)

Thanks! The student employment link is already available. I actually already applied to a couple of jobs awhile ago but none of them have even responded. I’m hoping more jobs are added closer to when the school year starts. Does everyone who wants a work study job (and received the award) guaranteed one?

From what I’ve heard work-study students have priority for jobs so you should be able to get one. I applied for a couple of jobs too with no response yet, perhaps they’re not really looking at applications this early?

No one is guaranteed a work-study job. I’d say keep looking, you’ll find something eventually. Wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the jobs are waiting until classes start to hire someone. Also, there will be new jobs showing up on student employment all the time, so if a lot of the jobs up now get taken (which a lot will, there are a lot of work study kids), there will be more.
