NC State invited me to apply for the Goodnight Scholaship, I have submitted all information needed. Would this mean I’ve been accepted? Hope so, a lot of work, to then receive a rejection letter.
My guess is that it does not mean that you are already accepted. But hopefully you saved all of your writing. You should start files and make sure to save your questions and answers. As you apply for different scholarships those will come in handy. You can also use them for internships, co-ops, jobs, honor societies etc. It’s much easier to cut and paste and change it a bit than to start over.
Thank you Nealinnc for the information, I’ll update 30th Jan.
Just curious man, what were your test scores, GPA, extracurriculars, etc… Thanks!
Hi JacksonP12
I was accepted into NCState, really excited.
My GPA is 3.9 unweighted, 4.8 weighted, 2nd in my class. Many regional competitions with school. Doing duel enrollment in my 12th grade, six classes being college classes and AP Calculas. 9th, 10th and 11th grade summer working for the State park. School volunteering, museum volunteering. My test scores was only 1650 but I guess my GPA helped me a lot.
Ive read The Goodnight Scholaship team don’t look at your past acheiments, just have a list of names from admissions but pick the 90 finalists from the two essays they ask you to write.
Was you invited JacksonP12?
Finalist notifications are supposed to be going out today. Does anyone have any clue what time they come out?
We seen that also overthinker3 on their website, 5th Feb. Not had an email yet and nothing in his WolfPaw account
Good luck!
Was put on the alternate list. Good luck to the finalists.
I received the finalist notification but I am sadly having to decline because of another scholarship interview weekend that same day so that is one spot that one of the alternates will fill up! Good luck to all alternates and finalists!
Good luck with your Scholaship CarPanthers25, that’s amazing receiving interviews for many scholarships.
My Goodnight candidacy status was updated from alternate to finalist! Very excited!
