Last year some people didn’t hear back until late March. It looks like we’re just going to have to be patient!:/

Late march? Oh dear. It’s times like these when patience is most definitely a virtue.

Just curious… has anyone with pending offers sent Google an e-mail and received a non-automated reply?

I was looking at last years forum and people were getting acceptances all the way up to March 28th. But to be honest no news is better then bad news XD

Just got an offer a few days ago, anyone have ideas about where in SF to live that is convenient for commuting? The housing options they are offering don’t look great, sharing a room w/ twin beds.

Congrats mebreuer! What department did you get an offer from, just out of curiosity?

Also… sorry for spamming this thread, but should I give up the possibility of scoring an interview for BOLD? Though I am a female, I’m not an URM as I am half japanese. I feel like I’m obsessing way too much. :(

Congrats! How long after your final interview did they take to contact you?

I got an offer from Product Quality Operations…honestly I’m not completely sure what they do, but the vague description online is that they work to protect against fraud and abuse. I don’t get my exact assignment until much closer to the summer.

They contacted me exactly 2 weeks after my interviews. But they also said that they were just starting to roll out offers now.

welp, got my rejection letter. good luck everyone!

Sorry to hear that sclayton. Out of curiosity, what departments did you apply for?

I’m assuming different teams are doing things at different rates.

thebeat – I applied to the HR department. Good luck!

I received my rejection email last night.

“We enjoyed reviewing your application and greatly appreciate the time you spent applying to the BOLD Internship Program. Due to the overwhelming response and limited number of internship positions available, we will unfortunately not be moving forward with your application at this time.”

Luckily I have an interview lined up with another company! Good luck to everyone else:)

You’re going to be great in your interview, brkln!

I still haven’t heard back… but to those wondering I “applied” for: Marketing, Technical and IT, Analytics, Company Operations, I’m flexible!

Submitted my application mid-November. It’s now early March.

I have hopes that those of us that haven’t heard back, will! I applied for Marketing, HR, Communications, and something else. Wah D:

I’ve also noticed that they sent out emails on Fridays. I’m not sure if this is only rejection emails though.

hey guys,

just to let you know I got rejected last friday. I applied for the marketing, hr, and product development departments.

good luck to the rest of you!

Did they contact you by phone or email? Did you have a third phone interview?

Does anyone know how long after your first two phone interviews they contact you again? Is there a round following the first two interviews or does the offer follow?

Thanks!

I just got an email last night saying that I am moving on to the phone interviews! I applied for Marketing/Account Mgmt in late-November. The position that I am interviewing for is SMB Global Customer Service in Ann Arbor, MI. It’s interesting because I didn’t apply for this position, and my top choices were Chicago and SF.

I am not really sure what my position entails, hopefully not just answering phones for Google Customer Service. Hopefully it is something to be excited about.
