<p>I applied for the APM internship about a month ago after contacting a recruiter. I made it to the first interview, but then Google decided not to continue the process with me anymore. Yesterday, I applied for the BOLD internship and let my former APM recruiter know. She said she flagged my application for the BOLD recruiters, so we’ll see how this all goes!</p>

<p>A question for everyone, did you all receive a submission confirmation email from both the primary and secondary applications? Or did you just receive one? I’m a little nervous both didn’t get in xD…</p>
<p>@tralala100 yes, I did receive a notification after I completed the first part as well as the second part. Check you spam folder, or check your bundled folder if you are using gmail, sometimes they automatically bundle some email together. </p>

<p>One nit-picky follow-up, I received my primary on Yahoo Mail ( yeah don’t know why i’m still using it) and my secondary on Gmail because they required it - Did your primary say : …“Thanks for applying to Google! There are a ton of great companies out there, so we appreciate your interest in joining our team”…</p>
<p>And secondary : “Thank you for taking the time to fill out the internship application. Your information has been sent to the University Programs team. Please note that we will only review applications that have submitted both Part 1 and Part 2 of the online application.” ?</p>
<p>Just wondering why they remind you to submit primary/ secondaries if you are submitting your secondary.</p>

<p>Hey I applied too. I got both emails when I completed the application. Hey are any of you guys part of the minority Google is looking for in this internship?</p>
<p>Well, I’m physically disabled, so I’d say I’m in the minority.</p>
<p>Has anyone heard anything back from Google yet? Last I heard they’ll start notifying potential candidates of the next step this month (December).</p>
<p>The application said they would start notifying us in December, but FAQ section said January. </p>

<p>I received an email directly from someone in Google’s HR saying that their team was reviewing my BOLD application, and that I would personally get an update on my application around “late December/early January regarding the status of your application.” The email also mentioned that I would hear back specifically from the Google HR person who sent me the email or another member from their team. I hope to hear back soon! I also applied via the traditional application process and through the internal referral process. G’luck!</p>

<p>@tralala100 Thanks. I am not sure if the email I got then meant anything although it was from someone specifically from Google’s HR, so, who knows? I applied to People Operations (but indicated I was “flexible” to move within any group). I applied a few days before the deadline through the traditional application and with referrals through the internal Google process.</p>
<p>@ucdtoucb I received one email today about “next steps” and another email a few days ago about my application being received by their team because I went through the internal referral process as well. And then there’s also the "application received’ emails but I assume everyone got that.The email I received initially was not the same one that I also received today (I’m assuming you’re referring to that one).</p>
