Got a D+ in one of my Major classes ...

Honestly, I was just lazy with this class and didn't put enough effort. But yeah ... that was stupid of me. Gahhh.

But what does this grade mean for me? Will it/ will it not apply toward my major? I have some Cs on my transcript, too, so I know those in combination with this letter grade aren't making me look to hot. Is there a way to lessen the fact that I got a D+ in this class for people/grad schools? Am I completely screwed? Where might I find a sliver of hope, people?

If it helps you guys get a gauge on me, my GPA so far (including my classes this semester - missing info on one more class) is 3.16.

Of more immediate concern is whether your major requires you to pass the course with a grade higher than D+.

Is a D allowed for EECS majors or do you have to repeat the course?

I thought a D- was passing, but you can retake a D grade if you’d like (cut-off is a C- for not being able to retake)
