<p>I just found my dorm assignment. I have a Manzanita Village Triple.
On my top choices, Manzanita wasn't even on my list. I don't understand how they chose that for me.</p>
<p>How can I request to get a double in either Anacapa, Santa Rosa, or Santa Catalina?</p>
<p>unfortunately, you were probably last in the lottery process, and just got whatever was left. luckily, you got the biggest of the triples, so at least you won’t be crammed in a room made for two people with three living in it.</p>
<p>to get a double, you have to wait two weeks after moving in before you can even request it. then you go to housing and put in a petition for a new room. it might take awhile, because people usually don’t move out of their dorms for a little while. but once a spot opens up in a new room, and depending on when you got your request in compared to other people, you will be moved.</p>

did you choose triple for all of the halls? if so, that may be why…</p>

<p>I would be David. But I have contacted one of my roommates and the missing one is Sidney, I would guess you are TJ so it wouldn’t be you haha.</p>
<p>I suggest trying to contact the housing office ASAP and see if they can adjust you. If not, you can probably request to be de-tripled into one of the other dorms you wanted once space opens up.</p>
