i recently checked my BARK transaction statement and after doing a little simple math i discovered that i will be in a triple room and unless this is the Manzanita triple i requested as my 4th or 5th choice, im guessing that i will be one of the unfortunate freshmen who has been stuck in a double sized dorm room with 3 occupants.

Has anyone here ever been suck in the double room with three people? and if so can anyone tell me how cramped or bad it might be or is it not as bad as i think it might be?

have the same figures on my barc account and i have the 14 meals a week plan too..so i'm thinking i probably got put in a triple room..thats fine with me as long as i'm put in a room thats meant for triple occupancy..that would suck to be cramed in a double room with two other girls!

being alone is something i can handle, being shoved in a closet space with two other people is something im not so sure about. and im trying to be as optimistic as i can.

Unfortunately, there aren't any rooms that are "designed" for triple occupancy. There are a few rooms in Manzanita Village that are ADA accessible which are larger, but those used to be ordinary doubles and singles in the past.

The triples are probably going to be temporary though.

I was in a triple! Seriously, they're not as bad as you'd think...at all. Frankly, the rooms are small and the difference between 2 and 3 people just isn't really an issue because everyone's crammed. My hall had a few triples and no one ever complained about the space. Everyone gets their own dresser still, so most of your clothes should go in there and then the closet space issue just seems about the same as it usually is for people. It's going to be tight quarters for everyone, don't get me wrong: it's a challenge, but it's a challenge even when you're in a double. I don't know why, but the difference between 2 and 3 just isn't too much of an issue.
