I got my first acceptance letter with UC Santa Cruz. However I wasn't very excited after reading it, knowing that because my community college cut half their classes this semester I'm an English and Math class off the IGETC. (Yeah it had to be the most important ones)

UC Santa Cruz's intent to register said: "It is important that you read these carefully because your admission will be withdrawn if you do not fulfill these conditions." So does this basically mean I have no way of making an appeal to let me take these courses at the college, or do them over summer? I had intended to take every class that I needed, but when my community college only has 4 classes available for my Math and English that are fully waitlisted to the max, there isn't really much I can do about it. :|

Basically, am I screwed for all my UC acceptances?

i m missing on IGETC course too, its the lab that goes with the science requirement. However, I asked my school counselor and she said its okay as long as its not math/english. so you should def. go ask your counselor too!!!

doesn’t any math class fill the IGETC thats above algebra? Just pick a random easy online math class (stats perhaps?) and use it to fill the requirement.

You can also see if you can appeal taking it in the summer although iirc 90% of the uc will only take up to spring work but maybe a exception can be made? no promises though
