So i was accepted, but not for my selected major which was Business Admin. I still want to pursue a career in business, so what are my options?

you can still major in Business Economics

or you could do normal economics

Or you can fulfill the pre-requisites and re-apply for the major, although it is VERY competitive.

i’m in the same boat and i’m probably going to end up taking business economics or psychology. i’m pretty sure grad school will be more important in paving out your career and future.

same here
but i got into my second choice: business econ

Same as TwinsFishy

Truthfully a Econ undergrad helps alot more than a business admin undergrad save that for the MBA in grad schools

help me out…kids get accepted …but told not into their chosen major?? Does this happen often??

thanks for info

Some schools allow students to choose a desired major and an alternate major. If their first choice major is impacted and they fit the requirements to get into the college itself they are then placed in their second chosen major (for the most part, unless that too is impacted).

I believe this happens to many people applying for an impacted major
