<p>Filed FAFSA on-line just over a week ago and got the SAR in the mail today - nothing much is different on this than on the summary received at the end of applying online (just for anyone who's wondering...)</p>
<p>Here's what I'm curious about - on the bottom of page 2 (the back of the yellow SAR form) there is a "for financial aid office use only" section. In there are some numbers and letters for different things (lots of "flags") - any clue how to decifer these codes? The letters are "N" (for no?) and "D" (dependent?) but there are various numbers.</p>
<p>It probably is not at all important, but guess I feel like if they had to know so much about us, I want to be fully informed of what they have deducted about us!!!</p>
