Governor's School

Finally, there's someone else who applied to Public issues (i've felt lonely...lol) I think they mail our response by March 29; so it's soon.

We should get it.. Saturday, then?
e_man, what county?

yeah..hopefully...i just want to get it over with.

oh and i'm from bergen.

MCZ, i'm international studies as well!! it'd be cool if we both got in.

my friend's mom is a staff member @ the arts school campus. Apparantly, jersey's insane budget problems mean that the Arts School has been cancelled and the other schools might be/have been? I'm hoping that that's not the case, but... : / I guess we find out in a day or two.

Gah, I want to know NOW!!! All my friends are finding out about uni's...can I not find out my fate for this summer at least?!

I'm from Bergen, too! :) Congrats.
Anyway, I called the Director of Gov. School today. According to my friend, her cousin "called to see if she got accepted yesterday. They told her she didn't get in and that due to budget cuts, they are accepting less students."

Apparently, the person on the other line told me that no one could be told about whether or not he/she got accepted into whatever School & all Schools are sending out their acceptance letters on the 4th of April. I suppose we'll have to wait another week or so.

Whhat? It definitely said on the website that they were mailing them today!

:( And it's excellent as well that I have an even smaller chance of getting in now...

Wait, why did they tell her if "no one could be told about whether or not he/she got accepted"
