My whole entire life I had dreamed of going to Temple U. I live in Ma & my gpa is a 2.37 & it’s 3rd quarter. I take two A.P classes English and History and I believe people say it raises your gpa at the end of the entire school year which im not 100 percent sure. I signed up for Ap psychology next year so that I can try to boost my gpa up. I know my gpa is HORRIBLE, but I want to get it up to a 2.4 by the end of 4th quarter and try to raise it up to a 2.5/6/7 during senior year (next year, I’m a junior, I’m a junior now), I don’t know if I should take a college class over the summer to try and raise it up more so I can get at least a 2.6 by the time it’s time to apply to college senior year? I’m not sure can someone PLEASE tell me the approximations for me? Is Temple WAY outta my league? Even if I do get a accepted I’m out of state and the most I can pay for school outta pocket is 10k/year and I’m sure I’m not going to get much or any educational scholarships. If get HIGH sat scores like a 2000 would it give me a more serious chance of getting in ? I do very well in tests compared to my school grades. Should I try to stay local in MA & try to get into a umass school? Would I even have a chance there & still pay less than 10k/year outta pocket? The LAST LAST LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAST thing I want to do is go to a community college. Thank you I need alllll the help I can get.

Only 1.4% of admitted freshmen have a GPA as low as you describe. You need to make a realistic back up plan.
What’s a better plan?
