I currently have a 3.66 GPA and I'm about to finish my AA degree. I've already applied to a few colleges for Spring 2014.

My questions involve my current GPA. I have one more semester to take. Will the colleges that I have applied to keep track of the GPA during my next semester to make a decision?

My second question is:
What happens after I transfer?
Will I start off with a new GPA or will I still build on my current GPA?
Or will my GPA never matter again?

It depends on the school, some will request grades for your current semester and some will not. But all if them will take into consideration the classes you are taking your last semester. Also, depending on the school they will either combine your GPA or your GPA will start over.

From looking at your activity it looks like your applying mainly to Florida State and other Schools in Florida.

So in admissions they will look at the Fall 2013 grades heavily but if you’re at a 3.66 I think if you stay above a 3.4 you will be good anywhere in Florida, as for spring they just ask that you stay above a 3.2 I believe I’m not 100% sure.

But maybe consider some out of state schools go out and explore the country and live it up you’re only young once and college is the time to live it up.

That is true, but FSU is where I want to be. I visited their campus and I was impressed. Also, everyone has been helpful and friendly.

I don’t know about my chances of getting into UF, but they haven’t even answered my emails regarding my major. Everyone keeps saying that UF is better, but honestly, I would rather go to the school that actually seems to care about me. Plus, the girls I’ve seen on the FSU campus… I’m not going to give up on that.
