I'm pretty sure we all had that course that brought down our GPA or would ruin the image of our GPA (i.e. Getting Straight A's and then you have that one course where you got a B in). So what course "killed" your GPA? (when I say GPA Killer, I'm joking. It doesn't mean it had to be a course that brought you from a 3.7 to 3.0. Any course that brought you down a bit would be considered a "GPA Killer.")

For me it was Intro to American Education. All of my other classes I had 3.0+ but that was the only class where I had a 2.7 (B-):(

Chem 101, Qualitative Chem…thought that was going to be a lot easier than it was. One and only B- so far. Luckily I have to take quantitative chem next year which is a lot easier (I was using the textbook for that class as a supplement to my high school chemistry class).

****ing General Chemistry 1. It was the first damn C I got since sophomore year of high school. Ugh. That’s what I get for taking an 8 hour Saturday course. I should’ve just waited until fall semester to take it instead of spring. The most soul-sucking, dream-crushing experience ever. Even made me change my major.

This stupid freshmen writing class. It was the prof, not the class. She gave me a 2.0 on a paper but couldn’t tell me why… it’s just how it went. Every single person in the class hated her and we even made a BINGO game out of all of her dumb phrases and played during class. It was more productive than listening to her. Even the counselor warned us not to take her. She’s now the assistant dean because they couldn’t technically fire her, but they didn’t want her to keep teaching. It’s funny…

The Pleasures of Reading: Islands. Not pleasurable at all, and the professor and I did not see eye to eye. I was sick in the hospital one day, she counted it as an unexcused absence.

ECE 304…There’s a story believe me. Prof wasn’t a bad guy but totally raped me in the end with some generic grading scheme. I had a C before the final and before labs and homework were counted. Yet I somehow got a C for a final grade. Apparently I would have gotten the same grade had I not shown up to the final at all OR done any of the labs OR done any of the homework…****!!!

And it was 6 credits so it’s like getting raped x 2

ugh college algebra. the only course i’ve ever gotten a D+ in (in my defence, the prof was really bad at teaching, ie: the book we used didn’t explain things well at all nor did her “notes” that she wrote on the bored).

+1. I’m of the opinion if you have to take algebra in college when some of us took it in the 8th grade, then you *probably *shouldn’t be going to college.
