GPA needed for Business transfer.

I know it states 2.9 but thats the absolute minimum to be considered. So what is a safe GPA do get into COB.

My first 60 credits 3.83 GPA finance major member of Phi Theta Kappa.
I'm going to have to take a hit with an "F" grade for calc II because I can only drop two classes of 4 and I would be getting a B in FIN3403

So my GPA would be a 3.63ish with 72 credits.

Thank you,
Lazario,

So does anyone know what a “SAFE” gpa would be to transfer to FSU?

ANyone?

I honestly would think that the F in Calc 2 would hurt more than having a high GPA would help, especially if Calc 2 is a pre-req for your major (I’m not sure if it is or not). But I’m not in the College of Business so I can’t really help you too much with transferring.

I would think that you would be fine with a GPA above 3.5 and all of the requirements for entry into your major met. Especially if you are transferring from a community college with an AA.

No its not a requirement, but thank you for the response. I transferred to UF from A CC and I now want to go to FSU…

Calc 2 was a pre-requisite for accounting majors here at UF, but I changed my major to finance.

Thank you again Pasbal for your response,

Anyone else?
