My GPA right now is 4.1 weighted. I dont know if that matters or if unweighted is important. Can someone tell me what my unweighted GPA is and is it possible for me so get my unweighted GPA back to a 4.0? Im going to be a junior and plan on getting Straight A+s from here on out. I'm going to take 2 honors classes and 1 Pre AP (which is consider a Honors weighted GPA class). and then senior year will hopefully be 3 AP classes. Any suggestions will be appreciated. thanks

The only way to calculate GPA is if we know what your grades are in all of your classes (that count towards your GPA). But a basic overview:
A 4.0
A- 3.7
B+ 3.3
B 3.0
B- 2.7
C+ 2.3
C 2.0
C- 1.7
D+ 1.3
D 1.0

etc.
In college, you also have to take into account how many credit hours each class is worth, but in hs I assume they’re all weighted equally.

And no, you can’t physically get back to an uw 4.0 if it is below that right now. You could theoretically get a 3.999999, but a full 4.0 means all A’s.

You can plan on getting all A+s all you want- the likelihood that that’s going to happen is very, very small.

Unweighted depends on the college. Some recalculate, some don’t. If they recalculate, they often give you a scale so you can recalculate it yourself.
